Would you like to create our Winter 2020 Cover?

 ‘All that is Covent Garden, Past, Present and Future.’

The Covent Gardener is inviting an artist (any age & discipline) to design the cover for our Winter Issue 2020 ‘All that is Covent Garden, Past, Present and Future.’  The winner will have their artwork printed as the cover of The Covent Gardener.

Over the past 5 years we have had some of the most interesting, legendary and brilliant artists, creating bespoke pieces of cover art for us.  This competition is designed to challenge and seek creativity with ideas and concepts for an outstanding Cover for The Covent Gardener, we know how incredible Covent Garden is, please show us your way of celebrating this area!

The main thing is to have fun with the brief, there are so many incredible, interesting and unbelievable elements to Covent Garden…. theatre, architecture, flowers, fruit and veg markets, characters who have lived here, the community who inhabits her now, the street performers, the traders. For inspiration please have a look at our Instagram account and past issues.

What you will WIN
ALL artwork submitted will be published, either in the printed issue, online newsletter or on social media. Along with having their artwork printed as the cover for the Winter issue, the winner will have their work displayed outside of Covent Garden tube station and win a 2 night stay at the newly refurbished Strand Palace hotel in Covent Garden.

T&Cs:  Once all the art work is in by 24th September the judges and The Covent Gardener team, will have two weeks to choose the winner and 3 runners up. • The winner will have their artwork on the cover of our Winter 2020 issue.  • The winner will also have their artwork displayed outside Covent Garden tube station for three months, •  ALL artwork submitted will be published, either in the printed issue, in the online newsletter or on social media. • The three runners-up will be gaurenteed a place inside the printed issue
