At the beginning of lockdown we launched a competition for an artist to create the cover for the Winter issue of The Covent Gardener.

It started as gentle home project during lockdown blues. The idea was to offer an opportunity to the many fantastic artists who over the years have wanted to be involved with The Covent Gardener. Every time I received an entry it picked up my spirits and kept me going which is why I decided that every entry had to be published.

I was incredibly touched and felt proud and grateful to everyone who spent their time creating an image for The Covent Gardener. Had no idea when we launched this competition how it would turn out and think the results are outstanding, it will be fascinating to see and hear what the judges think.
