Covent Garden’s New Tourist…

You might have heard from the news that Covent Garden was rather busy over the weekend. Majority of visitors were from London… locals have indeed become the new tourist. My feelings are mixed at the amount of visitors we had, of course no one likes a fun sponge, the shops and restaurants need to make money and being with friends and loved ones is what life is all about.

The atmosphere was lovely and plenty of families came to visit, however I found the crowds a touch overwhelming, we still need to be aware and respectful of others, we have gone from quiet and rural to not so quiet and rural. If you’re wanting something a little more calm, I would suggest visiting (with your mask) earlier on in the week.
