Manners Matter More Than Ever in Covent Garden

MORE THAN EVER MANNERS MATTER

Everyone is loving Covent Garden slowly coming back to life, hopefully our friends, shopkeepers and restaurateurs are making some much needed money. It has unfortunately been brought to my attention (by more than a few from our community) that a couple of visitors (gentlemen who are totally intoxicated) are using the walls of architect Charles Fowler’s Market Building as a urinal.

I am immune to the presents left down my alleyway at night, but 4pm in broad daylight in The Piazza is too much even for the most hardened Covent Gardener. The brilliant security guards who do an outstanding job, do what they can. More than ever we all need to remember our good manners. Am hopeful things will change next week, when everywhere is finally open.
